A large ornamental garden with purple foliage and foxtail flowers, Purple Fountain Grass is a beautiful ornamental grass with striking burgundy foliage throughout the year. It has long, purple coloured, foxtail like flowers pretty much most of the year (except in the dead of winter). They are tough and hardy grass that will add a splash of colour to the garden.
Pennisetum Advena `Rubrum` is an exotic ornamental grass that originates from South Africa. The seeds of this plant are sterile and will not cause any weed issues in your garden. Purple Fountain Grass is a tall plant to 1.5 metres high. The flowers start out purple and as they mature fade to a yellowish cream colour.
